A Journey to Resilience

The topic of Resilience was highly inspired by the life stories & coping skills of inmates who were his group coaching clients. Most of us, after all, go through various emotions that dictate our actions. It is a vital skill to harness & manage our states & urges in key moments that matter.

Sam spent many years in the corporate world working in multiple countries and industries – tech, banking, finance, and executive development.

In Singapore, Sam has nearly a decade of experience as a wealth coach to high net worth individuals (HNWI) and families. He also regularly delivered lectures and training workshops to educate people about smart investing and personal finance.

To make sure he was capable of delivering the best to his clients, he earned the prestigious Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Financial Consultant qualifications (ChFC) in Singapore. These take hundreds of hours of study, years of relevant experience, and over a dozen examinations in all to clear.

Sam has a Master’s degree in Finance and was one of the youngest Masters-level lecturers for the University of Wales to an international cohort in the subject of Investment Valuation and Portfolio Management.

He also holds ACTA (Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment) issued by the Singapore Government as a trainer, course developer, and assessor.

Sam is a certified yoga teacher, and in his spare time enjoys picking up new skills – from scuba diving and yachting to piloting small planes.

His greatest satisfaction is to see tangible and sustainable transformation in his clients in goals that matter most to them.
